You did it!
You made it to college and have freedom for the first time, but you're terrified and overwhelmed.
You have all the same high school stress and a few new ones!

Rhythm
Each semester has its own rhythm shaped by the courses you’re taking, along with a predictable week-to-week structure. One of the first challenges is figuring out how to stay on top of weekly assignments without losing sight of the bigger picture—the full arc of the semester.
You’re juggling regular homework while also preparing for exams, long-term papers, breaks, and a semester that always seems to fly by faster than expected.
So how do you keep up with it all? I can help you build a system that supports you from the very start of the term and carries you confidently through to the end.

Taking a break
You have a lot going on. College isn’t just about new classes—it also brings new people, new responsibilities, and an entirely new lifestyle.
If you don’t intentionally build in real breaks, burnout is almost inevitable. Mental exhaustion and procrastination often get mistaken for rest, but they aren’t the same thing.
If you find yourself doom-scrolling, walking away from your work, or zoning out, you’re probably not truly taking a break. There’s still a voice in the back of your mind shouting, “We have work to do.” When that voice doesn’t quiet down, the break your brain is trying to take never actually restores you.

Now What!
You’ve spent much of high school preparing for college, and now you’re being asked to figure out what comes next. Feeling exhausted is completely normal.
One way to approach this is to treat the process like another class—just an hour a week can make a big difference. Use this time to explore new interests, ask questions about your future, and test out ideas. Moving forward will take organization and reflection, but with consistent effort, you can make real progress.

Procrastination
We all procrastinate—yes, even the most productive among us.
The question is why. Are you bored? Unsure where to start? Doubting that you’ll finish the task?
Chances are, at least one of these is holding you back.
By identifying the why, you can remove the barrier and get back on track—ready to tackle your work with focus.
